Sänger und Bassist Nils verlässt die Hamburger Black-Metaller TODTGELICHTER. Er hatte den Sängerposten 2009 übernommen, nachdem Sänger Mort ausgestiegen ist.

Die letzte Show mit TODTGELICHTER spielt Nils am 30. Juni bei der Geburtstagsparty des Three Monkeys. Die Metalkneipe wird fünf Jahre alt und feiert das mit fünf Live-Acts. Außer TODTGELICHTER spielen noch LIQUID GOD, RETAIN, 2ND SIGHT und EDEN CIRCUS. Los geht’s um 19 Uhr im Grünspan, Tickets kosten im Vorverkauf 5 Euro und an der Abendkasse 8 Euro.

Nils‘ Statement zu seinem Ausstieg:

Dear Friends, Fans and Haters,

after almost 9 years of music with Todtgelichter, which meant passion, ecstasy, family, and my world, we decided, that I will no longer be a member of the band.
Due to musical differences and my private life, I could not come up with the effort that Todtgelichter needs – to be what it is now and what it will be in the future. Still I will always remember the time as the best I have ever had so far.
There will be one last chance to see Todtgelichter on stage in the current line-up at Grünspan (Hamburg) on 06/30/2012.
Since Metal has been a huge part of my life for quite a while now, I will continue playing music whatsoever to keep up with the shitty times, just not as a part of Todtgelichter.
Thanks to all the people that believed in us and have supported us over the years.
